![]() T.REX ARMS specializes in IWB holsters our Sidecar holster has been the industry standard for 6 years. Choose OWB for practicing at the range, duty use, competitions, or perhaps when doing Rooftop Korean activities. Your gun is visible, but you increase your weapon access, comfort, and mobility. Sometimes comfort needs to be sacrificed in order to meet this goal. Please keep in mind that at the end of the day, you are wearing a gun in order to protect yourself, your loved ones, and to ultimately preserve innocent life. Choose IWB for carrying your gun every day under normal clothes.Ĭomfort is subjective so we recommend playing around with different ride heights and placements to see what works best for you. When you choose an IWB holster, you sacrifice a little speed and comfort to keep the fact that you are carrying discrete. IWB holsters are optimized to hide your pistol. Carry PositionĬarry Position is a matter of priorities and preferences. To see what lights we recommend and the holsters that work with them, explore our Pistol Light and Light-Compatible Holster pages. We recommend you look at what gun/light combos are supported by a holster before you buy both the holster and the light. If you substitute one weapon light for another or remove your weapon light, your Light-Compatible holster transforms into a Kydex bucket with no retentio n. Most modern semi-autos have an accessory rail near the muzzle-end of the gun, and we consider a rail-mounted light a high-priority accessory.Ĭarrying a gun with a weapon light requires a “Light-Compatible” holster molded for that specific gun/weapon light. ![]() Weapon Lights and Light-Compatible Holsters If you are unsure if we make a holster for your handgun or have questions on holster fitment, please contact us at placing your order. For example, your SIG or CZ won’t fit in a Glock holster. In order to ensure a secure fit, every T.REX ARMS holster is designed for a specific gun or gun/weapon light combination. Oh wait. Before you search our site for your new holster, you need to confirm the following: He just has his daddys money to skip the 5.11 and serpa phase and jumped straight to SCARs and PVS-31s.Īmazing how an airsoft kid from a wealthy cult family managed to become a grossly over-rated cult of personality huckster. He's every bad stereotype of Timmy Tacticool mashed up into one. Not actually showing where he gets his training from, claiming cool guy friends, while crap talking some of the biggest and most experienced names in the industry? Presenting himself as a "trainer for the pointy end of the Spear"? Talking about force on force training while omitting his absolute inability to perform during it? Saying you don't need to be mil/le to be an expert on shooting (absolutely true) but avoiding competition shooting?Ĭoming in last and getting DQed at the few competitions he does show up for? Speaking way outside of his lane of expertise?Īcting like a SOF expert with not a shred of mil experience?Īcting like an LE/SD expert with no shred of LE experience?ĭefending the above by saying he's not doing exactly that and he's just really good at shooting but has no comparative metric? The fanboying of poorly designed and built holsters? I don't think those things are necessary to have an opinion on a matter, but that seems to be what your question is hinting at. ![]() If it answers your question, the owner does not have a military / LEO background and is just a shooter. Holsters are like assholes and opinions though so others may differ. I only bought the one I did from a black friday sale. Overall I was underwhelmed and with the zillions of kydex makers out there I won't buy another. It also came with a really shitty paddle attachment. I don't really care about the finish wear, though. The kydex was also not perfectly formed and it scraped off on the gun for a while and left some finish wear. It was too tight for my G35 and would sometimes "lock" it in, despite not having anything other than passive retention. I have one of their holsters and it's honestly pretty shitty. Maybe he is now, I remember him catching a lot of flak for it when it was a newer company. He has been caught editing his videos to make his shooting faster and he does like to LARP as a trainer or something. His family is legitimately some weird cult. ![]()
